Paradise Farm was just fantastic. The historic split log house is pristine and did not disappoint. My nine-year old was up at 7:30 to do chores with Kathy the farmkeeper, and then had the run of the barnyard with its sweet, gentle goats and sheep. And you can not beat the fresh egg harvests! We went home with 2 dozen eggs ($4/doz) and couldn’t be happier. And the friendly barn kitties were a bonus. I highly recommend this for families with small children. My grandson had a blast.

What a lovely rustic cabin. We enjoyed building a cozy fire and sitting out on the porch watching the chickens and listening to the birds. The kitchen is charming, especially with farm fresh eggs for breakfast. We’d definitely come back for another visit!

We had a lovely weekend staying here. The indoor space was cozy and very clean. The outdoor space was beautiful. My kids really enjoyed feeding the farm animals and collecting eggs. We loved the freedom of walking out the front door and being in a beautiful natural space to explore. The hosts are so friendly and warm. We will definitely return.

We so enjoyed meeting all of the animals and exploring this beautiful space! Didn’t even leave the property for three days & had plenty to do & see. And the gorgeous eggs- such a lovely welcome treat! The cabin is so charming & I loved cooking in the tiny kitchen. Our toddler enjoyed the wooden blocks & being able to see the chickens & sheep in the morning. Cats are SO friendly!! Bed is very comfortable & bathroom has nice linens. It’s very clear the property, animals & people who visit are deeply cared for. Just a note: If you have a kiddo/ partner who is a light sleeper, be sure to bring your sound machine or ear plugs. Older spaces have creaks!

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at Paradise Farm! Our kids fed the chickens and sheep, gathered eggs for breakfast, played with the cats, made s’mores on the campfire and.. saw two lambs being born!! Beautiful Ridge Run Park is around the corner and the farm from 1847 is the most cozy and comfortable place to stay.

My boyfriend and I had a great weekend getaway here! Such a cute place if you enjoy the old cabin feel. We enjoyed learning more about the farm and meeting the animals with the caretaker, Kathe.

This was a stunning get away! The cabin is cozy and my girlfriend and I loved wandering around the farm and greeting the goats and sheep. Mary was a responsive host and Kathe (the caretaker) was great to chat with! I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Wonderful winter time stay! It was so much fun feeding the goats and sheep, walking around with the chickens and giving the barn cats some good pets. Hope to return in warmer weather and will recommend to friends. The cabin has a great story.

I had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It’s in such a pretty area and the farm is charming. I loved how cozy the cabin was, especially at night with the wood burning stove. It was so fun to meet all the animals and accompany Kathe to feed them, and I took some lovely snowy walks around the property. The Ice Age trail is also super close by so that made for pretty and convenient hiking. This was the perfect getaway in a winter wonderland, and I hope to come back soon!

This cabin is fantastic. Rustic, very well maintained, very clean, and all the amenities you’ll need. We had a very fun pandemic getaway with our 1-year-old. She loved the animals, and walking around the property is a real treat. The cabin is an amazing bit of history, built before statehood, and you feel like you’re stepping backwards in time when you walk in the front door. It’s really cool, and very cozy. The wood stove is fun, but not required for heat if that’s not your thing (there is central heat, which works well). The kitchen is small, but well-stocked and very functional… we cooked several big meals and had no issues. Plenty of hot water, comfortable bed, really nothing to complain about at all. If you’re reading this and the pandemic is still going on… this is a safe stay. The cabin is very clean, check-in is all contact-free. The only interaction is with the very friendly on-site host who will give you a “socially distant” tour of the property and introduce all the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats). It was all very pandemic-safe and a fun way to get away from home.
