From an adult perspective, the stay was peaceful, the property was really nice to walk around, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the coffee was easy to find. 😉 I also had two kids with me, ages 9 & 12. They LOVED the animals. The caretaker Kathe was so nice and sweet about showing them around, letting them help feed and water the animals, collect eggs and answering all their many, many questions. All the animals were very people friendly, and many would follow you around for attention and petting. They especially loved the three cats (who stay outside) and played with them every chance they got.

This was a perfect location when my friends and I were in West Bend for a family reunion. We were delighted by this cozy cabin and it was so peaceful and unique. We couldn’t believe how old this house is (1847) so it had lots of charm and it was fun imagining who lived there over the years. We loved the chickens, kittens and goats too. Would definitely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful time! The farmhouse is absolutely charming. Perfectly decorated to enhance the time period but with the comforts of modern living. It is quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Waking up to see hens, cats, sheep and even baby goats! was such a treat. Mary was a wonderful host getting back with questions quickly and cheerfully made accommodations for our late arrival. The caretaker, Kathe, was very friendly, also. Truly a beautiful, totally relaxing place to stay. Also has a supper club nearby.

Paradise Farm was a beautiful and unique setting for our family getaway. Our two boys loved helping with the morning chores feeding the goats, sheep, chickens and cats. The farmhouse is cozy and charming. Mary and Kathe are responsive, helpful, and friendly. We can’t wait to come back!

This is a special place. Rustic and historic but with everything you need to have a completely comfortable experience. The place is immaculate…crisp sheets, pristine towels, and shiny floors. The cottage was cozy and bright, with furnace heating and a wonderful log fireplace stove. The opportunity to engage with the cats, sheep, goats, and chickens was extraordinary. These are the gentlest, most socialized animals you’ll ever meet. The farm hosts a wonderful program for kids and parents so the animals are very used to hands-on love and care from kids. Kathe, the on-site property manager, was patient and kind with our daughter while she helped with morning animal chores, and my daughter is already asking to go back. We’re so grateful that Mary has preserved this piece of paradise and is sharing it with others. There are wonderful memories to be made here!

I brought my the kids for a little relaxing vacation, and it was perfect. Playing with the animals and cuddling up inside as chickens and cats wandered outside was so nice. Great experience.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Paradise farm with our 8 and 5 year old sons. The cabin is warm, cozy, clean, comfortable beds and all the things you need to have an unplugged weekend. The boys loved playing outside in the snow with the cats and helping feed the chickens and goats/sheep. We can’t wait to return! Thank you so much!

Again! Again!!! As “Kids” at heart 😁😉 we loved being included in the caring for the sheep, goats and kids-sitting in with and watching the baby goats imitate their momma was hilarious! So endearing when the rest of the “friends” (herd) came in to “check on “ us. Kathe is irreplaceable with wisdom, caring and knowledge. Cannot wait to come back this summer, fall and another winter visit.
