My little family, my husband, I and our 2 boys (3 years old and 5 years old) loved our stay in this family friendly cabin. It was very cool to see the ax marks in the original logs making the walls. We enjoyed playing with the farm blocks and games. And our favorite parts were rocking in the adorable family sized rocking chairs, meeting all the goats, sheep, chickens and duck, and stroking the loving kitty cats (especially sweet Oscar). Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

The small farm is really enchanting, we felt very comfortable there immediately! It has everything you need and Kathe even put some eggs from the chickens in the fridge for us. There were also sheep, goats, cats, a small dog and a duck, all very friendly animals. The farm is quiet and a little off the beaten track, but you can still quickly get to town and the various excursion options. A clear recommendation!

We adored our stay on Mary’s farm. I stayed with my husband and our two kids, ages 4 and 6. The house itself was out of this world charming, well-appointed and obviously well cared for. We loved the porch full of rocking chairs for the whole family, farm fresh eggs, wood stove for our unexpectedly cool summer evening, and all the animals. We went to nearby Shalom Wildlife Zoo one day and that was a great way to spend a day with the kids. We’re planning to return next summer, we loved our stay so much!

Our stay at Paradise Farm with our granddaughters was unique and memorable! We all enjoyed the morning rounds with Mary feeding the animals, and learning the background of the historic property. The home was simple, clean and comfortable; everything as stated. We walked the property, explored nature, yet were only minutes from West Bend, Regner Park swimming, and Ackerman’s Grove Park near Little Cedar Lake. Highly recommend this fun adventure for a delightful stay!

I loved my 5-day 4-night retreat at Paradise Farm. Well named — paradise! An old log cabin, but immaculate, well-maintained, and so cozy. Very quiet and peaceful. As a single older woman I felt very safe there. I read, and wrote, and did some drawing, and walked on the trails, and spent hours sitting in front of the wood burning fireplace, with a nice stack of seasoned firewood right outside the door. Loved the history of the place, and the aesthetics of the charming old log home, with an enormous stone fireplace. Also was treated to a beautiful fluffy snowfall! I certainly hope to return, both for an alone time retreat, and also to bring my grandkids to experience a few days of communing with the chickens and goats. They would love it. Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in!

I had a lovely winter stay in quiet solitude to do some writing and reading. I had everything I needed in the kitchen, but I did bring my own cookie sheet and cookie dough. I didn’t expect to be so close to the road, but it was still pretty quiet. The cabin was very clean and it felt like I was the only one who had ever stayed there. It’s a short drive to many trailheads for the Kettle-Moraine or to Sunburst Ski area or to get groceries or other needs. I will definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The criteria were, wood burning fireplace, kitchen, scenic location but close enough to civilization where we could shop & eat. This place was perfect. The cats & goats, chickens and ducks added a nice touch in a “Green Acres” sorta way. It was a perfect getaway. Paradise farm was indeed like being in paradise. We will definitely be back.

Very peaceful stay in this historic home. The highlight for us was the wood burning stove which made everything so cozy!

What an incredible stay we had! Kathe, the farmhand, was so warm and welcoming and even let us feed the animals with our two-year-old son. It was such a special experience for him. When we weren’t outside exploring the property, we were snuggled up inside enjoying the wood burning fireplace in the spacious living room. The hosts, Mary and Jim, provided tons of great recommendations in the area, but we had the most fun playing games and cooking warm meals in the cabin. It’s clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. We can’t wait to come back in the spring and meet some of the baby goats and lambs!

Absolutely lovely log cabin with morning farm activities. Kathe is so wonderful bringing us around the farm and introducing us to the farm animals. Mary is a great host and responds promptly. Love the cats, goats, hens, ducks and cozy fireplace!
